lyrics
i don’t feel ok today
i’m living off of yesterday
trying to understand my brain
it’s fucked up cause nothing’s changed
i don’t wanna write a song
i can’t stay awake too long
i’m losing all my energy
i’m a half of me
how do i know?
how can i be?
i don’t even like my company
i gotta feeling that
how do change?
how do i grow?
if these 4 walls or all i know
somebody help cause i am losing half of me
half of me
i look at all the other girls
they’re flying all around the world
looking every pretty
confident and happy
i look down at my two feet
walking down the same old street
why am i going nowhere
i stop and stare
how do i know?
how can i be?
i don’t even like my company
i gotta feeling that
how do change?
how do i grow?
if these 4 walls or all i know
somebody help cause i am losing half of me
half of me
but i know
that i try and
it’s the best i can provide
it’s enough for this little life of mine
If not my money problem I would have bought the CD version. The moment i heared "Child" it was clear to me, that I need more. My fav is "Not enough", because it takes a different approach on beeing alone. pikolowet
I'm always open-minded - and open-eared - for a good singer-songwriter album, especially if well-versed songwriting is paired with a strong and pleasant voice. Natalie Holmes matches this pattern just perfectly, and there's a lot more exquisite music to be discovered here, on her Bandcamp site. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
After buying a couple of Natalie's albums, I checked out her Facebook page ... and found she was appearing at Southampton Sofar.
I went along. Natalie sang without a mike (the other three acts didn't). Her voice was even more amazing live.
The other acts were good, but Natalie is head and shoulders above them.
Bought the rest of her releases there and then.
