i will force my hand
to wade through the thickened sand
it will break all my skin
and i'll feel it
immersing in
i will bring it up
force myself to love the cup
that holds all of my half empty promises i make up
tell me i'll get there in the end
tell me i'll get there in the end
i know you will only do right by me
just give me a missing puzzle piece
it's hard to believe this weave
is woven by your hands but i'll stand
on the edge of your sea
i get help from them
but i have no choice of when
one day moves to the next so damn easily
i'm not sure it's true
but i guess it'll have to do
soon i'll realise i'm the one wise enough to love you
tell me i'll get there in the end
tell me i'll get there in the end
i know you will only do right by me
just give me a missing puzzle piece
it's hard to believe this weave
is woven by your hands but i'll stand
on the edge of your sea
I'm always open-minded - and open-eared - for a good singer-songwriter album, especially if well-versed songwriting is paired with a strong and pleasant voice. Natalie Holmes matches this pattern just perfectly, and there's a lot more exquisite music to be discovered here, on her Bandcamp site. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
Thanks Mrs Holmes for Goodmorning Sleepyhead, already “so old track”,
I have got memories about the period of time of the releAse,
Do I still have to say that I love your music? goodmorningsleepyhead
If not my money problem I would have bought the CD version. The moment i heared "Child" it was clear to me, that I need more. My fav is "Not enough", because it takes a different approach on beeing alone. pikolowet
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
